Treatment at WCSPP

The Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (WCSPP) is an educational institute designed to provide advanced training to qualified psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers in the theory and practice of psychoanalysis and psychotherapy.

Faculty members of the Center are experienced analysts who draw upon extensive teaching and clinical experience and represent a broad range of contemporary theoretical orientations. The Center is not committed to any one psychoanalytic orientation. Commitment instead is to flexibility and continuing reassessment of psychoanalysis in the light of new knowledge and developments.

The Treatment Service is part of the clinical training program of the Westchester Center. We provide psychoanalysis and psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy. We are committed to providing high-quality, intensive treatment at a sliding scale. Therapists are licensed professionals engaged in post-graduate psychoanalytic training or graduates of our institute.

All treatment is provided in the private offices of the individual therapists. Our therapists are committed to working with their patients for the duration of treatment.

Treatment with WCSPP psychotherapists is by application. You may download a copy of the application in PDF format by clicking below:

WCSPP provides psychoanalysis and psychoanalytically-oriented psychotherapy for adults and psychotherapy for children and adolescents on a sliding scale basis through our Clinical Training Programs.  Our psychotherapists are licensed professionals with individual private offices located throughout Westchester and Rockland counties, New York City and lower Fairfield County, Connecticut.

We are interested in making high quality, low cost treatment available to highly motivated and committed individuals.

After downloading the application, please print it, complete and return it to Ms. Nancy Bobker, Administrator, WCSPP, The Wainwright House 260 Stuyvesant Avenue Rye, NY 10580. We will contact you when we have received it.  At that time, we will make every effort refer you to one of our therapists or recommend other resources in the community.

Please be advised that completion of this application does not imply that you are automatically a patient of WCSPP.
